Dear Friends,

First off, our Ale House family would like to thank all our loyal friends who helped us through our toughest time ever. It’s because of you that we made it, when many others in this business did not. We are fortunate, we know it, and we don’t take it lightly. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

New Management, Same Ridiculous Staff

Hi, my name is Kip. I’m one of the many longtime employees of the Wedgwood Ale House and Café, and I’m proud to announce that I have recently assumed ownership.

Located in the Wedgwood neighborhood of Seattle, we've been having fun serving area residents since 1992!

  • We have the same friendly staff, the same great food, and the same diverse selection of beer on 18 taps—mostly from the Pacific Northwest’s world-renowned breweries

  • We also feature a modest cocktail bar

  • A few picnic tables outside welcome guests and their dogs

  • There’s a café to bring in the kids with everything available from the upfront pub together with a kids’ menu

  • Our back “speakeasy-style” room, complete with a beautiful 9’ Brunswick pool table and big-screen TVs, is perfect to rent for a party with your own personal server

  • Expatriate archeologists and native squirrels are of course always welcome

The Wedgwood Ale House features three venues, each with its own entrance and restrooms.

Amazing Beers—Famous for our constantly rotating 18 draft taps, you can expect to see top quality, hard-to-find craft beers from small breweries as well as a few from the bigger guys. We always offer Rainier on tap for nostalgia, and Guinness too, of course! You'll also find a refreshing cider on tap to quench your thirst.

Cocktails—We offer a limited but well-covered selection of spirits and serve homemade margaritas and Bloody Marys, too.

Wine—We feature several fine reds and whites, as well as splits of bubbly. Wines are available by the glass or the bottle.

Separate Family Dining. We offer a separate café seating area for families with children. With a kid-friendly menu, booster seats, coloring books, and crayons, there's plenty for everyone! The regular menu is of course available for heartier appetites. Look for the café entrance on the side of the building.

The family dining room is open daily from 4pm–9pm.

On Mondays, one of your kids gets to eat for free (with purchase of one meal—kid or adult—at regular price, dine-in only)!

The Speakeasy is Open Every Evening

Shoot a game of pool, order some food, drink a few beers, and hide out for an evening!

We have one 9ft Brunswick tournament pool table, featuring high-quality felt, in a beautiful, custom-built back room. And with several large screen TVs, this room is a great place to watch the game.

Food and drink service is always available. The room has a separate entrance on the side of the building, at the back and near the parking lot.

Ideal for private parties, the speakeasy can accommodate up to 40 people. Please contact Kip, the owner, if you are interested in hosting a private event in this space: 206.527.2676 or thealehouse@yahoo.com
